Keith Martin was born and raised in Boston, MA. While born into a well-to-do family, Keith could never live up to his parent’s lofty expectations and was often a disappointment. The only thing he was good at was playing music, especially brass instruments like the trumpet/trombone) . After a big fallout with his parents Keith moved out as a teen, and decide to drift the countryside by train. One day after finding himself in Kansas City, he visited a local junkyard and found an old beat-up trumpet that was still playable. With all the money left in his pocket he bought the instrument and immediately began practicing his scales. Keith loved to spend his days hitching train rides, and practicing on his trumpet whilst riding through the hills and valleys of the vast countryside.
