Johnny Dust (SOLD)

from Beats Without Homes by Everybody's Hip-hop

about

Johnny Dust is from Cincinnati, OH. Johnny became a drummer in a local band. But after his younger teenage sister died from suicide, Johnny felt responsible and his life turned into a tailspin of drugs and alcohol to numb the pain. He even did some jail time after getting arrested for robbery in order to support his drug habit. After his last jail stint, Johnny cleaned up but had a hard time finding a job due to his felony status. He is good with his hands so he moonlights in front of the local Home Depot hoping for work. He wants to get back into drumming again, making rhythmic percussion sounds akin to Clyde Stubblefield and Leon Chancler.
